Birthday treats are fine but optional! If your child has a summer birthday,
you may choose to celebrate your child's birthday at another time during
the year, a possibitlity could be his/her half birthday.
However, if you want to do something other than treats to celebrate your child's day, feel free to send in non-food treats for each student in the
class (21). Ideas could be birthday pencils, erasers, book marks, etc. Just
send the special non-food treat(s) with your child.
*Sending treats in is absolutely optional.*
Remember if you are sending birthday party invitations to school, please send one for each child.
Otherwise, mail the invitations individually so no child's feelings get hurt.
