Helpful Websites

Fsaid.ed.gov. This is where you can create your FSA ID (Federal Student Aid ID), which you will need to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) . 

FASFA.gov. This is where new and returning students can complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA is a federal form that is used to apply for aid. In addition, colleges and universities require it to determine your financial aid package. 

PHEAA.org. This is where students go to complete the state grant form. This form only needs to be completed once in their academic career. (Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency)

Studentaid.gov/fsaid. This is a helpful site for any questions about the FSA ID. There are frequently asked questions, as well as links to get you started on creating the FSA ID. 

Mysmartborrowing.org. This is a free tool to help you understand and make smart financial decisions relating to choice of college major, as well as loan and scholarship options. 

Educationplanner.org. This site has information for students and parents, including career help, scholarship information, financial aid planning, and much more. 

Collegecost.ed.gov. This website includes different tools to help calculate the cost of your post-secondary education, including a net price calculator, a college affordability score card, and state spending charts from the Department of Education. 

Studentloans.gov. This site has information about federal student loans, including an overview of the financial process, entrance and exit counseling, and loan repayment options. 

Youcandealwithit.org. This site has tools for students and parents, including student loan options, help if you run into trouble paying the loan, and a parent financial timeline.
