Category words are animal parts.  We continue to explore nouns (words that are names of persons,  places and things) and verbs (action words).  We will continue to explore adjectives (describing words)  and  pronouns (words that take the place of nouns.) The Unit 6 test will be Tuesday.  A separate notice concerning the test was sent home last week.

In Math we will compare measurable attributes of objects directly,  classify, count and order categories by count and compare three dimensional objects.   Friday in Math is game day and we will repeat a game that we have learned throughout the year.

This week in Science we will explore the different types of habitats that we have studied in the study of the meadow and discuss how teeth are different with the use of our Scholastic Magazines.

We have many exciting events occurring in kindergarten!    There will be No School on Monday,  February 19th for Observance of President's Day.  There will be an Early Dismissal on Friday,  February 23rd for a Teacher's In-Service.  (12:15)
