Learning in school starts with being healthy! Students learn best when they are attentive, energetic, happy and healthy. Eating a good breakfast every morning and getting a good night's sleep are two important ways you can keep your body healthy and ready to learn.
Hi! I am Mrs. Meehan and I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere excitement about working with you and your child throughout the elementary school years. These years all full of changes and can be very busy. I am here to provide care to your child and most of all promote health and wellness. My Background
In 2009, I was hired as a Certified School Nurse within the Hopewell Area School District. I have had the unique opportunity to serve as the School Nurse at both the High School and Elementary levels. I completed my undergraduate degree at Gannon University, where I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and School Nurse Certification. I also received my Master's of Science in Nursing Education from Robert Morris University. Prior to accepting a position as a Certified School Nurse, I worked as a Registered Nurse in the Trauma-Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Allegheny General Hospital for four years.
