Mrs. Iannini- Guidance

Welcome Back!

My name is Amanda Iannini and I am the Elementary School Counselor. I am happy to be back and part of such a wonderful school and community again this year!

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Penn State University and received my Master of Arts in Counseling (School Certified K-12) from Geneva College.  Prior to joining the Hopewell Area School District, I worked as a Prevention Specialist at the South Side Area School District for seven years servicing students in grades Pre-K-12.

As a school counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, personal, and social development of all students. I look forward to offering support to the students, staff, families and community. I will be meeting with students individually, in small groups, conducting classroom guidance lessons, meeting with parents and collaborating with teachers and staff to benefit and meet the needs of all Hopewell Elementary students and families.

I am excited to share that my classroom lessons will focus on a monthly counseling theme.  I am hoping by the end of the school year your child will not only build upon their social and emotional skills but add new ones to their toolbox as well. Below are the themes for this school year.

I am looking forward to another great school year!
