Science ~ Foss Kit

Over the next couple of weeks the students will be completing the module
Ideas and Inventions. This module consists of four sequential
investigations that promote student creativity and inventiveness.
Each investigation provides valuable science content while introducing
a conventional technique for revealing the unseen. In Investigation 1,
the students will be introduced to the rubbing technique using pennies.
We will continue to use that technique to investigate the patterns and
textures of leaves. We will move into Investigation 2, where they will
learn a new technique called carbon printing. Here is information on
