In honor of the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday night game against the Carolina Panthers, all students and staff are asked to rock black and gold Steeler gear tomorrow.
Beginning on Monday, the high school will be in a window for an unannounced active shooter drill. An announcement will be made when a drill is to happen. An air horn will be used as a substitute for gunfire. All students and staff will act accordingly based on ALICE training. Individuals evacuating the building will not leave the property, but will go outside like a fire drill and wait there until the all clear is given to return to classes. Students are reminded to act quickly and with a purpose, but not to damage any property of cause injuries.
