We are pleased to announce that the February students of the month are senior Kaytlin Chichester and sophomore Christian Cutter.

Christian  is performing as a lead in this year’s musical, Legally Blonde, a role that he has worked hard to earn and shown the same work ethic throughout the rehearsal process.  He collaborates with his cast mates at all levels and also participates in the technical side- building and painting sets and props. In addition, he volunteered his time with the Junior High Production- filling in with stage crew roles as needed.  Overall, Christian is extremely reliable and hardworking and is a role model to his fellow cast mates.

Kaytlin has been accepting roles with increasing responsibility each year, but this year she really stepped up as a leader.  The biggest number in this year’s musical features a marching band and cheerleaders and some of the cast in the marching band role aren’t actually in band.  “Kit Kat” has taken it upon herself to teach those non-band members how to march together and the info they needed to know to play their role, in addition to a little bit of band-ography. Her leadership has resulted in the growing confidence of the students that she works with and she is seen as a leader both on and offstage, despite not performing a lead role.
