We are pleased to announce that the February students of the month are Senior Taiyah Persi-Roberts and freshman Clare Ujhazy.

Taiyah is one of the hardest working students in the high school and she has displayed a lot of resilience and drive in her four years here and has participated in soccer and track.   Recently, Taiyah learned that she earned a full ride, academic scholarship to the University of Toledo to study to become an English teacher.  She will be most successful because of her work ethic!

Clare is an excellent student who is taking four honors courses as a freshman.  She is a hardworking and conscientious student who balances academic pursuits with artistic endeavors as this summer she auditioned into the prestigious Jr. Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh.  She participates in chorus at the high school and is a member of the volleyball team.  She will perform as part of the Featured Vocal Ensemble in Mamma Mia- students in this ensemble spend more time onstage than any lead character, singing all the backup and harmony parts to the ABBA hits.
