We are pleased to announce that our students of the month in the high school are Senior Lauren Trimber and Freshman Brian Standfest.
Lauren currently has a GPA of 4.22 and is taking almost all weighted classes this year. She is ranked 5th in her class, captain of the Cross Country team for the 2nd year, 4 year member of the French Club, and is currently working on her 3rd novel. She is one of the editors in chief of Hopewell Hi-Lites and hopes to attend Bard University in New York. In addition to all this, Lauren works part time at CVS and is actively involved in her church.
Brian has recently been elected to be the secretary of the class of 2019 and has been a rock star at it so far. He has been a huge help to Mr. Muslin and Mr. Collins and shows up early to meetings and stays late in an effort to get things done. He is also his Homeroom rep for student council, a member of the German Club, and plays percussion in the band. Outside of school he takes drum lessons to perfect his craft.
