VIP Club Visits Franciscan Manor

Hopewell’s V.I.P club, Vikings Influencing Peers, volunteered at the Franciscan Manor, a nursing home in Beaver Falls on December 18, 2014. The members helped the residents decorate their stockings, make snowflake cut outs, and write letters to Santa or their family for Christmas. The residents had so much joy in their hearts, and the smiles in the room were countless! One of the activities counselors said, “Thank you so much, I haven’t seen him smile in so long.” Before V.I.P left, they joined the residents in singing the most well known Christmas music. The members of V.I.P even helped the residence dance around the room in their wheelchairs. V.I.P said that it was a wonderful time having the ability to make peoples days during this holiday season, and intend to visit them in the spring!
