March's Students of the Month

Congratulations to March’s Students of the Month, sophomore Logan Palochak and senior Alec Lopez.

Logan is an honor roll student enrolled in several advanced courses. He participates in swimming and volleyball. This year, he finished second in the WPIAL meet in the backstroke and fifth in butterfly. Logan was the only non-senior on the relay team in which they finished fifth in the 400 meter free relay and second in the 200 meter medley relay. Logan finished his season at the PIAA meet when he helped his relay team finish in 11th place, despite being sick.

Alec Lopez contributes to multiple Hopewell sports. He has served as the manager of the football, baseball, and boys basketball team. He has been a tremendous help in keeping Hopewell’s athletic teams running smoothly. In addition to being involved with sports, Alec participates in student council, Spanish club, fellowship of Christian athletes, and class club. He has been a member of the Polar Plunge team, which braves freezing waters of the Beaver River to raise money for Special Olympics, twice. Alec was also recently nominated for the John Challis award.

Congratulations to Logan and Alec!
