Congratulations to March’s Students of the Month, freshmen Richard Brunton and senior Lauren Shawgo.

Richard is a member of the stage crew where he displays a positive attitude and presents solutions to problems without being told. He played a huge part in helping this year’s production of "Beauty and the Beast" run smoothly. Richard is currently maintaining a 3.06 GPA which is a strong start to his high school career.

Lauren Shawgo is currently ranked first in her class and is a member of the National Honor Society. She has been a four year starter and served as a captain on the soccer team, helping to lead the team to multiple victories this past season. Additionally, Lauren has been nominated for the WPIAL’s scholar athlete award and gives back to the community by volunteering her time within the Hopewell youth soccer leagues.
