Dear Student Drivers and Parents:
I hope that you have enjoyed a restful and relaxing summer. It won’t be long before school is back in session. Student drivers wishing to drive to school will register for parking permits online at www.permitsales.net/HHS. This link can also be accessed from the high school’s website under the Students and Parents page. Drivers will be required to provide driver's license number, vehicle make, model, year, color, license plate, registered owner, driver’s relationship to owner, owner’s phone number, insurance policy number, and insurance company name. Permits cannot be registered without all of this information. More than one vehicle may be included on a driver’s permit.
The price of a parking permit for the 2014-2015 school year is $25. There are two options for making payments. Drivers may choose to pay online using a credit or debit card, ensuring that a permit is issued, or students may complete the online registration and pay at the main office with cash or a check made out to Hopewell Area School District. A permit will not be issued until payment has been made in full.
Once the online registration is complete, students will receive a confirmation email. The confirmation is to be printed and presented at the main office along with a photocopy of the student driver’s license. A numbered hang tag permit will then be issued to the student. The permit is to hang from the rearview mirror of a registered vehicle when the student drives to school. To summarize, in order to obtain a 2014-2015 HHS parking permit:
1. Complete online registration at www.permitsales.net/HHS
2. Make payment of $25 either online or in the main office
3. Present permit registration confirmation email and photocopy of driver’s license at main office
