Congratulations to Brett Pompeani and Gabby Stala for receiving The Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) 2013-2014 Student Athlete Award and representing Hopewell at the MAC banquet.

Both students were selected by Mr. Allison, Mr. Rowe, and Mr. Short to represent Hopewell. Brett was chosen because he was a scholar athlete and has played in the MAC golf championship for the past four years. Gabby was chosen for being named the All-State First Team, the All-Section First Team, and the All-State Team in volleyball. She was also the captain of Hopewell’s volleyball team and was a Beaver County Times’ Student Athlete of the Week.

Brett and Gabby said they were surprised when Mr. Short asked them to represent Hopewell at the banquet. They were both honored to receive this award because it recognized their athletic accomplishments.

Congratulations once again to Brett and Gabby. Your classmates and faculty are proud of you.
