Hopewell High School Fall Student/Parent Education Series
The high school guidance counselors and administrators are pleased to announce the Hopewell High School Fall Parent/Student Education Series. The series highlights a number of events aimed at both parents and students that will take place at the school. The events are free and will cover a number of topics relevant to high school student life.
The first event took place last Thursday at the high school. The Demi Brae Cuccia Awareness Organization spoke to students in grades 8-12 about dating violence and ways to prevent it. It is a relevant message for all teenagers and parents and we hope to have more information about the assembly up on our website soon. I strongly urge parents to visit the website http://demibrae.com/ or Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Demi-Brae-Cuccia-Awareness-Organization/109169832453284 for more information.
The second event in our Hopewell High School Fall Parent/Student Education Series took place this past Tuesday evening. Dan Pinchot, director of enrollment at Penn State University Beaver Campus spoke to students and parents about the college admissions and applications process. The workshop was well attended and received.
The next event will be Open House which will run from 6:30 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 25. We hope to show off the positive teaching and learning that occurs in our building everyday to as many parents and students as possible.
