We are pleased to announce that the September students of the month in the high school are senior Alaina Stroud and sophomore Alana Hough.

Alaina Stroud is an officer of NHS and will be directing this year’s induction ceremony. She is an extraordinary singer, and frequently sings for the congregation of Ohio UP Church, located just up the road and has been active in the musical productions here at Hopewell. She is a section leader in the band and holds a 3.86 GPA.

Alana Hough is active in ice hockey and swimming. She is an exceptional student, ranked in the top ten in her sophomore class (GPA 4.12), and very polite and attentive. Alana also works as a lifeguard.
