Two teams of four art students each competed on Saturday, April 11 in the 11th annual Pat Catan’s “Iron Crafter”. Team #1 members were Rachel Falk, Joe Snarey, Margaret Ward and Nicole Webster. Team #2 won the competition this year. Members were Stephen McCutcheon, Nicolette Peronis, Alexis Flynn and Emma Rose.
Teams were given a craft project theme, identical boxes of craft supplies and a “secret ingredient”. The teams race the clock as they plan their project, organize their crafting supplies and create their craft masterpiece.
Each student received a gift certificate for the store and the High School Art Dept. received a $100 gift certificate and the “Iron Crafter” trophy.
The craft designs are on display in the HS lobby during the Art Show April 20-30.
