Heather Roach is a school psychologist and works with
Hopewell students in all grades. Heather has worked as a school
psychologist for 19 years, in various environments, ranging from pre-school to
high school, with general education and special education students, and in the
pediatric medical field. She has an extensive background in psycho-educational
assessment, individual and group counseling, and behavior management. Mrs.
Roach earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from LeMoyne College and a Master
of Science in School-Community Psychology from The College of New Rochelle. She
began her educational career as a school psychologist in New York before moving
to Pittsburgh in 2005. She spent 10 years working in the Prader-Willi Syndrome
program and Pediatric Pain Disorders program at The Children’s Institute. She
has been working with the Hopewell Area School District since October of 2016.
Mrs. Roach enjoys helping students succeed and collaborating with Hopewell
families, administrators, teachers, and community providers. Outside of school
she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
