Biographical Information:
Dr. Oliver, a proud Hopewell graduate, began her tenure with the Hopewell Area School District in August 2012. Her passion for
working to identify and remove barriers to student learning, and advocating for
the needs of children, adolescents, and teenagers has been the driving force
for her career and is reflected in her prior experiences. Dr. Oliver
earned a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from Gannon University,
a M.Ed. in Educational Psychology and a M.S. in School Psychology from Edinboro
University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. in Instructional Management and
Leadership from Robert Morris University. She is a Nationally Certified School
Psychologist (NCSP) and has her Supervisor of Pupil Personnel Services
Certificate.
Prior to joining the Hopewell administrative team, Dr. Oliver
interned in New York for one year and worked for two years as a school
psychologist in Ohio. She is an active member of the National Association of
School Psychologists (NASP), the Pennsylvania Pupil Services Administrators
(PAPSA), and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD).
Outside of school Dr. Oliver enjoys spending time with her family
and greyhounds as well as volunteering for a local greyhound rescue
organization.
