Parent/Student Education Series
The Hopewell Counseling Department presents this year's Parent/Student Education Series.  This series includes a number of different programs to help with many educational needs including scholarships, military service, and many more.  Click Here to learn more about what is being offered. 
Prudential Spirit of Community Award
If you've made a difference through volunteering over the past year, you could win $1000 and a fabulous trip to Washington D.C.!  You can do this by applying fo rthe prudential Spirit of Community Award. 
Danica Dong - National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist
Danica Dong is Hopewell's newest National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist having scored in the top 16,000 scores (in the nation) on the PSAT.  Read the full article for a picture and additional information. 
Beaver County College Fair
The Beaver County College Fair is Wednesday, September 27 at the Penn State Beaver Gymnasium from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.  There will be representatives from more than 100 colleges technical schools and the military.  Read the full article for complete details. 
Children's Hospital Clothing Drive
Clothing items are being collected to supply the Clothes Closet in the outpatient Oncology Department of Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.  The clothes are given to children receiving treatment that may need an extra change of clothes.  Read the full article for complete details. 
Guidance Counseling is now School Counseling
The Guidance Department has changed its name to School Counseling to better represent the resources available to students and parents.  This department has, and will continue to be, the one stop shop for all student needs. 
Homecoming Parade
Hopewell's 2017 Homecoming Parade will take place on September 28th at 6:30 PM.  Come join the festivities at the parade on Thursday and the game on Friday.  If you are interested in participating in the parade please register your group or organization.  We hope to see your there. 
Financial Aid Workshop
Hopewell High School's Counseling Department invites you to our annual Financial Aid Workshop on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM in the high School Cafeteria. 
K-12 Accident Insurance
The attached brochure explains how you can help guard against certain unexpected events by purchasing plans designed to help supplement any insurance you have by satisfying deductibles or co-insurance requirements. The plans can also help limit the possible financial impacts of an injury if you have no other insurance.   
Keystone Remediation Courses
Beginning with the Class of 2019 students will be required to demonstrate proficiency on the Algebra I, Literature, and Biology Keystone Exams to graduate.  Students who score basic or below will be given additional support to help them develop their understanding of the content prior to retesting.  Please read the attached letter for a full explanation. 
New Bell Schedule
Hopewell High School has adopted a new bell schedule in order to meet the Pennsylvania Department of Education requirement or 990 hours of instruction.  CLICK HERE to view the new schedule.
