Hello parents and guardians! My name is Anjelica Diehl and I am the School Counselor for Independence (K-4) and Margaret Ross (K-2) Elementary Schools. I am so excited to be a part of such a wonderful school district.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Services from Geneva College. I furthered my education and obtained my Master of Arts in Counseling (School certification K-12).
My goal is to support students in the areas of personal/social, academic, and career. These standards are aligned with the American School Counselor Association. I provide several different services throughout the school year. I teach monthly guidance lessons to each classroom centered around different themes. This years monthly themes are listed below. I also provide groups in the fall and in the spring. We meet once a week for approximately six weeks. These groups are centralized around a common theme. For example, groups that were held last year were homework help and friendship group. Students are referred by their teachers.
Any student is welcome to see me. I cannot break confidentiality unless somebody is hurting them or they want to hurt themselves or others. If you would like me to meet with your child, please feel free to contact me. My email address is [email protected] and my phone number is 724-375-6691 EXT. 6309. Thank you. I hope you have a wonderful day!
