The first grade teachers at Margaret Ross Elementary want to welcome your child to a new school year. Listed below are the supplies that your child will need to bring on the first day of school:

• 4 dozen Ticonderoga pencils
• 4 boxes Crayola crayons
• 1 pair of children's scissors (Fiskars brand are ideal)
• 10 large Elmer's glue sticks
• 12 fine tip dry erase markers (blue or black)
• 1 dry erase marker eraser
• 4 highlighters
• 2 packages of pencil top erasers
• 2 pocket folders
• Headphones - one pair that go over the ears.  NO EARBUDS, please!
• 1 box of tissues
• A backpack labeled with your child's first and last name.  One that can be hung from a hook
• A plastic pencil box approx. 8.5 x 5.5 x 2 in size ( anything larger will not fit into the desk)

Add the following items from the above supplies to your child’s pencil box:

• 4 Ticonderoga pencils - sharpened

• 1 box 24 Crayola crayons

• 1 pair of scissors; labeled with your child’s name               

• 1 large Elmer’s glue stick

• 1 fine tip dry erase marker

• 1 dry erase marker eraser

• 1 highlighter

Place remaining items in a large, plastic storage bag (or bags)- labeled with your child’s name. These will be used to replenish supplies for your child throughout the school year:

*Any unused materials will be sent home with your child at the end of the school year.
